General Shipping Information

All buyers must be at least 21 years of age to order alcoholic beverages. Additionally, all shipments of alcoholic beverages shipped within the United States require an adult to be present at the time of delivery.

Buyers are cautioned that many states impose restrictions on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into its jurisdiction from another state. In some instances, special permits or licenses may be required for the buyer or shipper. Spectrum Wine Auctions assumes no responsibility for any required permits or licenses.

We are happy to work with you to locate an approved location to ship wine to in these states.

Shipping Carriers

By default all packages are shipped using our primary carrier, UPS. We do however have a variety of other shipping options we use from time to time including GSO, Fed-Ex, local delivery using our own trucks, and a variety of international shipping options. If you would like to have a custom shipping option added to your order please contact us after checkout and we will be happy to assist.

We offer consolidated shipments to New York (Manhattan Wine Company) and Hong Kong (JAS Forwarding). Our consolidated shipments depart about every month, and travel via refrigerated freight and at a discounted rate from normal carrier charges.

Transit Times

All orders can be shipped in 24 hours or less depending on size and shipping options chosen.

Transit times can vary based on your location and the shipping method you choose. Due to various weather conditions we typically recommend clients not choose ground shipping unless they are located on the West Coast. If you do choose ground we will normally ship your order on the first available Monday to allow a full week for delivery and to avoid your wine sitting in a warehouse over a weekend.
